Our Menu

The meals we serve are prepared using fresh ingredients purchased locally when available. We recognise that each person has different dietary requirements and can adapt our dishes according to specific tastes. At the same time we believe that the best flavours are achieved by focussing on one particular menu, preparing the food in a timely manner and not rushing it, just like at home…

For lunches and dinners we ask for prior notice and a list of restrictions and food preferences. Please notify us in advance if you require lunch or dinner on the day of your arrival. Thereafter, you can let us know in the morning if they want to have lunch or dinner that day.

Our chefs are very experienced and aim to offer the very best traditional home cooking. We work with one menu per meal so that their love and attention is focussed on providing one amazing culinary experience. 

Of course, we are happy to adapt your meal to your particular dietary preference (eg. vegetarian, vegan, lactose free, gluten free) so everyone can enjoy the same tastes.

Breakfasts are freshly prepared and include fresh fruits, cereals, freshly baked bread, eggs to order, bacon, pancakes or waffles and an Ecuadorian twist like plantain bolones or yuka tortillas. Fresh juice, tea and coffee is included.

Lunches are traditional recipes from Ecuador itself. They typically consist of a light starter such as fried plantain with cheese, a chicken, fish or vegetarian main and a dessert.

Dinners are more cosmopolitan but generally use coastal recipes and focus more towards fish and seafood.

Both the Hotel and Finch Wing have confidence bars with a variety of drinks including beer, wine and sodas. 

Tea, coffee and fresh water is available 24/7.

Each room has it’s own charm and quirks. All rooms are ensuite and all have their own adjoining terrace and hammock.

As their name says, this is a Boutique Hotel - just 9 rooms. Don't expect 24 hour room service or suchlike, but expect to be welcomed as a treasured guest and looked after superbly by General Manager Cattya or Owner Robert Grimstone, and their team.
